A letter from Jess and Lou

Our story began one night in London’s Soho. We were two sisters, Jessica and Louella Alderson, drinking cocktails and pondering why modern dating is so hard. So many people were going on dates without feeling a connection, and we knew there had to be a better way to match couples. That’s when the first idea for So Syncd was born—a dating app based on the 16 personality types. The app launched in 2020 and quickly gained popularity. We were overjoyed to hear stories of people finding their soulmates and forming connections unlike any they had experienced before. But as the app continued to grow, we realized that there was much more work to be done.

Meeting the “right” partner is only one piece of the puzzle. It’s equally important to understand yourself and create a fulfilling relationship dynamic. So, we pivoted So Syncd to a platform that offers tools and resources for personal growth and modern relationships. Today, our mission remains the same—to help people find love and connection through knowledge and understanding. We believe that everyone in this world deserves to feel loved, understood, and accepted for who they truly are. Through So Syncd, our aim is to make this a reality for as many people as possible by bridging the gap between our need for connection and the path to finding it.
