Spencer Hastings: ENTJ
Spencer Hastings is an ENTJ. She’s analytical and direct and doesn’t take kindly to being messed with. Spencer is often the brains and strategist behind the Liars and their various schemes, and she isn’t afraid to take charge when necessary.ENTJs are known for being natural leaders, and Spencer definitely fits that bill. However, her single-mindedness can sometimes be her downfall; Spencer is known for being a bit of a control freak, and she has a hard time letting go when things don’t go according to plan. She is also no stranger to conflict and is not afraid to stand up for what she believes in, even if it means butting heads with her friends. ENTJs are also known for their bluntness, and Spencer is definitely not one to mince words. She’s always the first to tell it like it is, even when it might not be what everyone wants to hear.
Hanna Marin: ESFP
Hanna Marin is an ESFP. Hanna is originally Queen Bee of Rosewood High School until she gets caught up in A’s games. Hanna is an outgoing people-pleaser who loves fashion and attention. She’s loyal to her friends, but can be a bit gullible. ESFPs are known for being social butterflies. They love to be surrounded by people and are always up for a good time. However, her need for approval can sometimes blind her to what’s really going on around her. In addition, ESFPs can be impulsive and reckless. They live in the present moment and may not think about the consequences of their actions. This is Hanna to a tee. She got caught shoplifting and with her mom’s gun, all because she didn’t think through the consequences of her actions.
Aria Montgomery: ISFP
Aria Montgomery is an ISFP. She is creative, artistic, and very in touch with her feelings. Aria is an excellent listener and is always there for her friends when they need her. She is extremely loyal and will do anything for the people she cares about. However, as a true ISFP, she can also be quite impulsive and often acts without thinking things through. This can sometimes get her into trouble, like sleeping with her teacher and forming a long-term relationship with him. Unhealthy personality traits of an ISFP mean they can be selfish, which is seen with Aria and the way she put Ezra above everyone else. She is also quite stubborn and doesn’t like to be told what to do, which often leads her into conflict with the people around her.
Alison DiLaurentis: ENFJ
Alison DiLaurentis is an unhealthy ENFJ. She’s the kind of person who is always looking for validation and attention. Alison is the type of person who would do anything to be the center of attention. Even if it means hurting those around her. Unhealthy ENFJs are notoriously manipulative and will do whatever it takes to get what they want. Alison is the queen of manipulation. She’s always playing mind games with her friends and is never afraid to use her charms to get what she wants. Like a true ENFJ, Alison is an expert at reading people and using their weaknesses against them. She knows how to push all the right buttons to get what she wants. Alison is also a master of disguise. She can be whoever she wants to be, whenever she needs to be, including being dead.
Emily Fields: ISFJ
Emily Fields is an ISFJ. She is kind, caring, and loyal, always seeing the best in people. She is also a bit of a worrier and can be quite anxious at times. Emily is a natural caretaker and often puts the needs of others before her own. ISFJs are known for their compassion and service to others, and Emily is no exception. She is a true friend, always there for those she cares about. Even when all roads pointed to Alison DiLaurentis being evil and manipulative, Emily refused to believe it and defended her friend’s honor. Emily is shy and not one to seek the spotlight. She often takes the backseat, letting the other Liars take the lead. She is content with doing what is asked of her and doesn’t need the attention or recognition that some people do.
Mona Vanderwaal: INTJ
Mona Vanderwaal is an unhealthy INTJ. INTJs are also known as the “mastermind” personality type, so it’s no surprise that the mastermind behind A was Mona Vanderwaal. She was always one step ahead of everyone else, always knew what was going to happen before it happened, and always had a plan, like a typical INTJ. However, Mona’s unhealthy obsession with being in control led to her downfall. When she lost control, she lost everything. Mona is manipulative, controlling, and uses people to get what she wants. She’s also extremely intelligent and always uses this to her advantage. While this makes her a great strategist, it also makes her a dangerous person.
Caleb Rivers: ISTP
Caleb Rivers is an ISTP. He is a true rebel and does things his own way. Caleb doesn’t care about what other people think of him and often bucks the system. He is independent and doesn’t like to be tied down. Caleb is also a bit of a loner and prefers to keep to himself. He’s not one for social gatherings or small talk. Caleb can also be impulsive and doesn’t always think things through before he acts. This often gets him into trouble, like when he hacked into the school’s computer system or helped car thieves as a hacker. However, Caleb is also a gifted hacker and ends up using his skills for good to help the Liars. He’s always there to help the Liars when they need him and is a true friend.
Ezra Fitz: INFJ
Ezra Fitz is an INFJ. He’s a complex person and it’s hard to pin him down. Ezra is private and doesn’t like to share much about himself with others. He’s also intense and passionate, both in his work as a teacher and in his relationship with Aria. Ezra can be a bit of a control freak and needs things to be just so. He’s also very loyal and protective of those he cares about. Ezra is intelligent and quick-witted, able to come up with clever solutions when the Liars are in a bind. He’s also a great listener and often provides sage advice to Aria and the other Liars. However, Ezra’s secrets often put him at odds with Aria and he’s not always able to be there for them when they need him.
Charlotte DiLaurentis, AKA Cece Drake: ESTP
Charlotte DiLaurentis, most commonly known as Cece Drake, was a typical unhealthy ESTP. She was an adrenaline junkie who constantly seeks out new and exciting experiences, regardless of the consequences. Cece used to escape from Radley, the mental institute, to party and meet friends. She was also known to be a bit of a troublemaker, often getting into fights and causing mischief. Cece was unemotional and evil. She didn’t care who she hurt, she just enjoyed torturing the Liars both emotionally and physically. Unhealthy ESTPs are often impulsive, self-destructive, and lack empathy, just like Cece Drake.
Toby Cavanaugh: INFJ
Toby Cavanaugh from Pretty Little Liars is an INFJ. He is imaginative, compassionate, and analytical. He’s also a bit of a mystery, which makes him all the more intriguing. INFJs are might be feelers, but they are strategic thinkers, always looking for the hidden meaning in everything. Toby is not afraid to stand up for what he believes in, even if it means going against the grain. INFJs are complex individuals, and Toby Cavanaugh is no exception. Much to everyone’s surprise, he joined the A team, which it turned out was to keep Spencer safe and get information on his mom’s suicide. Toby is the type of person who is always looking out for the people he cares about, even if it means sacrificing his own happiness.
Jenna Marshall: ENTJ
Jenna Marshall is an unhealthy ENTJ. Jenna is manipulative, controlling, and uses people to get what she wants. She also has a lot of self-confidence and is always sure of herself. Jenna blackmailed her stepbrother, Toby Cavanaugh, into a sexual relationship with her. She threatened to tell their parents that he took advantage of her if he didn’t agree. This is typical of a power-hungry ENTJ. They will do whatever it takes to get what they want and they don’t care who they have to step on to get there. Jenna and Alison are two manipulative people that want to be in control all the time. These two types did not get along well together and there was an instant rivalry.
