Grey’s Anatomy is chock full of interesting characters, each with their own unique personality. It’s interesting because all of these characters want to help people and saves lives but each in their own unique way. Whether they are making groundbreaking medical discoveries, being there for each other during personal crises, or simply cracking a joke to lighten the mood, these characters always manage to entertain and help their patients and one another.
Grey’s Anatomy really shows the variety of the 16 different personality types. We see each character at their best and at their worst, but we always see them striving to be better. And that’s what makes these characters so lovable.
It also highlights that people who share the same personality type can still come across as quite different. For example, Derek Shepherd and Richard Webber are both ENFJs. They are both charming, people-oriented individuals. However, Derek is a more spontaneous and carefree ENFJ, while Richard is more serious and reserved ENFJ.

INFP: Lexie Grey

When Meredith had Covid-119, Zola was worried, but simply said Amelia and Maggie shouldn’t tell Bailey and Ellis unless they had to, because they were too young to understand. ENFJ: Derek Shepherd, AKA McDreamy
Derek Shepherd was an ENFJ. He was the kind of person who always saw the best in people and was always looking for ways to help others. ENFJs are charismatic and they make great leaders. This definitely applies to Derek. People in the hospital loved him and his charm. So much so that they gave him the nickname McDreamy. But they also admired his talent and looked up to him.
